Timesheet with Projects Explorer
IMAGE 3-1:
The EPK-Suite timesheet is comprehensive and easy to use. Staff members can
enter hours worked against any project or operational effort they are assigned
to, and also record sick, vacation, etc. Using the Explorer pane at the bottom
of the timesheet, users can see all the details of any effort they are involved
with. The Explorer also controls which items are currently "open" to charging
time.

Line Manager Approval
IMAGE 3-2:
The system allows both line managers and project managers to approve timesheets.
The line manager approves all hours posted, and the project manager approves the
time charged to his/her projects. mangers can approve timesheet individually or
review multiple timesheets and approve them with a single click. Managers can
also "lock" timesheets to prevent changes. and they can communicate reasons for
rejection with a full notes capability.

Personal Planner
IMAGE 3-3:
All timesheet users also have access to a Personal Planner which allows them to
plan personal activity in the future; this can include time off such as vacation
or jury duty, and also meetings and routine administrative work. and the entries
for Personally Planned activity are integrated with EPK-Suite's resource
management, thus reducing each staff member's availability for the Personally
Planned items. Managers have access to the Personal time planned by any staff
member.

Delegation Capability
IMAGE 3-4:
The system has a comprehensive delegation capability, allowing users to indicate
other staff who can fill in their timesheet for them. Or approve timesheets for
a particular department or project. The delegation function extends beyond
timesheets to include delegation of stage-gate owners and resource planning
functions.
|
Timesheet Reporting
IMAGE 3-5:
Managers can quickly see summary views of actual hours by project, department,
resource. These views can be by week, fiscal month, or other time periods.
|
Project Progressing
IMAGE 3-6:
The EPK-Suite timesheet serves dual functions; it allows charging of hours (with
approvals) for billing/chargeback/accounting purposes, and it also permits team
members on project to report detail task or work item progress. When the project
manager accepts the progress reported by a team member, it's automatically
reflected in the project schedule. This allows project managers to immediately
see the results of the data they have received for the project team, and make
any schedule adjustments required.
